Prediction: the new four-letter word.

One day, in the not so far future, spam gon be the new dutty, stinkin’ word.

Think of all the ways people does use the old four-letter word...spam gon be like that.

People gon shout things like, “Spam you, man,” and the recipient of such a cuss gon launch he or she self at the abuser in rage.

Spam you, you mother-spamming spammer!

Ginger, sput sounds bad, in fact, you can do like the Jamaicans and string 'em together.

Dahl, others have said that 'spam' is a 4-letter word, but I don't think anyone has described how it will be used in the future.
Argh, one dirty spammer is still trying to leave stuff. I should cover him / her in tartar sauce.

heh, the word 'spam' has been around since at least 1944. Referred to the mush that Americans put in a can .. heh

Guyana-Gyal said...

Hello Davo, welcome.
Now how did the mush creep out of the can and spread to computers, I wonder :-)
How did that name come about?

CG, those poor folks, has anyone told them they're eating cussed stuff?

You could use it backwards! Women might be able to navigate!

John.g, har har, explain this...why don't men ask for directions when they are lost?

I just got spammed by someone writing Russian...it looks like Russian. How come no-one else is getting them?

Ohhhh, I LIKE this.

When I moved here I pledged (to myself) to clean up my language. (for the kids, what else?) the really tough one was the automatic names I called rude drivers. I also decided to make the change on the long cross-country drive to get here.

I decided to call them all "sweetie pie."

"OK, Sweetie Pie, make up your mind" has such a different feel from the things I used to say (though most of the sentence was the same, LOL) And then there's "Aren't you just a Sweetie Pie?!" Melted and changed my mood, and put be back in a good humor, no matter how ugly and foolish the other drivers' behavior was.

It's pretty much habit now.

But I just can't wait for the excuse to say someone is a Spam Head.

Guyana-Gyal said...

Hayden, making up insults without resorting to cuss words can be quite entertaining. I'm off to think up some for our mini-bus drivers..............

Mr. Nighttime said...

Of course, that will lead to such other phrases as "motherspammer, and the like... ;-)

kfm said...

LOL! Calling a person a spammer will be the most disgraceful thing you could do to a person!
