I always scron that "red splat". Very creative piece.
Hey, can you remember a long time ago the Ministry of Health was giving away medicated mosquito nets to persons living in the rural areas. It was an initiative done to reduce the Malaria in those areas. [hmmm I sound like a GINA reporter]
I hear them good fuh people like me who does always brace the net.
I have daily fights with cockroaches in the bathroom... and I always win!

Mosquitoes are strong. They will lift you out of your bed and throw you outside. Then you will SPLAT!!!

I keep finding mosquitos in the house here... pale, small, weak, not interested in dining on moi. And huge black flies Jake and I are always trying to kill.
Screens in all of the windows, too. No idea how they're getting in. Runnin' from the cold, probably.
Lady bugs? Millions of those, too. Must catch several a day and take them back outside. Some other kinda' beetle, too.
sigh. they're welcoming me to farm life.
remember when we used to kill dem mosquitoes and heap them in a pile on the bed in the back room?? By the time we were ready for bed we had quite a pile of them. Remember??? (Cousin Lis)
Gotta get a zapper gyal. It's addictive watching the beasties fry.
