My li'l sister.

When my sister is in the shower, she does sing faux-pera, that is, fake opera.

She does sound like this.

All the time I live next to you I thought it was you who was making that racket. No wonder Eric Clapton used to play Grateful Dead really loud on sundays:)))

You have talented family.

Hey, that sounds like me! I want the eye lashes. Keep the mouth.

What you need to do is to tape her 'singing' and threaten to play it for her friends if she doesn't stop her caterwauling.

Blackmail - the one true way to prove you love your family.

Malaika, she lives in Florida now. She don't care who hear, s'what I like about she.
Man, I like Sesame Street, I wish they'd show it here again.

CG, yay, sing on, belt it out.
Actually, I kinda like Orange's mouth.
They used to have Cecile too, I wonder what happened to her.

Exotic Gyal, if you heard a racket, that was me, haha. My lil sister lives in Florida.
I only heard the Greatful Dead once, coming from your home, it was the night before Diwali.

Pat, I think I read that you used to do faux-opera too.

Will, ain't Sesame Street good in every way? TV production, education, culture awareness.
I read once that it was banned in one part of Merica because it showed too much...um...cultural unity...something like that.
And look at the way they teach the arts.
The maestro plays glowingly, flowingly...

lol.. comments here certainly are funny... Let the child develop, I say. The shower is the only place a body gets to do an true throat-stretchin singing these days. Caulk yuh ears and mek she enjoy herself!

Guyana-Gyal said...

Ruthibelle...the child is married with two boys...and she still belts it out in the shower. She says her little sons do the same but they're worse than her.

JohnG, you should hear her sing that Christmas song about Marrrry's boy chillde...

Mr. Nighttime, I heard my mother telling her on the phone yesterday about this post, so I hollered, It's a compliment, it shows how lively and spirited she is.
Heh.

Yeah, Cadiz, sing it sistah. She's a trip, y'know, people like being around her. She was born with some sort of people-gathering skill.

Well for your sake, I hope she sings at least as well as a fruit.

Sesame Street will always be my favorite show.

Guyana-Gyal said...

Hi Cofo, welcome, heh, I like the way you look, all scratched and grrrr and rrrarrrgh.
My lil sis lives in the US...the neighbours like her. I don't know if they've heard her singing...

Am I the only one who thinks the singing improved after the 'headshake' and 're-assembly'?
At least, it seemed more in tune. Hope your sister and her children are not tome deaf!

Hayden said...

too funny.... and I'm thinking you have an upgraded internet connection these days.... yes?

Guyana-Gyal said...

Oh no, Hayden, the same ol' dial-up. One day, broadband will be affordable to everyone here. I hope.

Sab, with the way they sing, I wonder, haha.
