ATTENTION!!!

Flitting...

flitting....

from channel to channel...

I light upon this little ad last night on

local tee vee:

ATTENTION!!!

All beekeepers for sale.

Couldn’t follow the rest of the ad below,

the writing been a tad pale and small and

fuzzy...something about ‘standerd hives'

and other ‘standerd’ beekeeping

things for sale...beesides, I been too buzzzily

drinking in that one li'l line, thinking,

what kinda beekeeper I would buy...

What kind you would buy, dear readers?

Merrily, merrily shall I leave now (oops, sorry Shakespeare...)

A Hugh Jackman one, any Hugh Jackman beekeepers out there?

personally, i like the Lee Pace one from the television show Pushing Daisies (even though technically it's his gf who keeps them, he got them for her).

is the reason they're for sale because all the bees are disappearing for no known reason?

One who would call you "Honey"?

Guyana-Gyal said...

That's a sweet one, Krimo.

Ah but, Cadiz, does he look like Hugh Jackman?

As for the bees here, I don't think they've heard as yet about the pesticide making their cousins [overseas] disappear, they're still buzzing about in Guyana. [I read somewhere that it's pesticide that's doing the damage].

Whoever wrote that ad needs to buy a *grammer* and *speling* book haha.

Like the movie monster, Candy Man with a hook and a long over coat. :)He would open up this big coat and bees would fly out of his chest. What can I say, it's almost Halloween.

I AM SURPRISED AT ALL YOU BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL FLOWER PEOPLE. NOBODY EXCEPT MOI, ME, I, ME, SPOTTED THE GRAMMATICAL ERROR.

HA HA HA HA.

Keith, yes, yes, I bee mad with delight, ha ha ha.

KFM, ask your college prof. to spot the grammatical error.

Et tu Stephen, spot the error and win.

The cutest post ever, reads just like a page of Winnie the Pooh!

I would have an adorable beekeeper like Ned in Pushing Daisies. You can keep Hugh Jackman, though I liked him in "Kate and Leopold". So maybe I could have Mr Darcy.

My grandpa kept bees... in Africa. Which kind of points out that some stories are exagerated. Yes, African bees are an irritable bunch, no, they're not something out of Stephen King... as long as you act sensibly.

I never was stung by a bee ever, but it is true they have people they like... or don't like. Bees are picky about who they'll take as a keeper. ;-)

I'm not fussed. Just so long as he's tall, dark and handsome, sweet- natured, biddable and can make me laugh.

I've BEEn busy HONEY!

Guyana-Gyal said...

John, what you BEEn doin', sweetie?

Jacqueline, beekeepers are a dime a dozen now, especially in countries where the bees aren't producing, they need someone to keep them in sweet style.

KMF, you should see them mistakes on tee wee, hahaha...

Pat, does that fit the description of YTL?

Michelle, my mother was stung twice, and now she insists that she's allergic to honey. I wonder if that's possible. Mm, I love honey on toast.

Oh thank you Olivia, thank you, I can keep Hugh Jackman, have you see the movie Australia as yet? Is it out?

My fave Pooh boy, Christopher is not in the Disney stories :-( As a child I didn't get the Pooh books but I did read one or two, my nephews' books. Delightful.

GG: he falls a bit short on the 'biddable':)

oh dear, deprived of POOH! Actually, I didn't fall fully in love w/ the Pooh books until I was about 12, when I was little they seemed - odd.

I'll take a quiet-moving, fully netted beekeeper please. I'd love to have bees, but I'm a 'fraidy cat.

Yes, bees do live in cities. We even have commercially produced honey right here in the middle of San Francisco... they live safely up on a roof! Come down to sip flowers all year 'round.
