Idle chit-chat between the raindrops

Pee Em Ess. That is what I think Mother Nature suffering from. Bright and chirping one day. Brooding, chin long down to the ground the next day, dark with vexation against Man. Crying long, long sky-water the third day.

My ma say
Mother Nature getting ole, that is why she acting up all over the world, arthritis, osteoporosis, all kinda ole age things troubling she.

I consider this. Hm, yes, I say. Could be. I can just see she, bending she back, crying, oh my aching rocks...

What with the rain we had yesterday I wonder is she getting just a teensy bit incontinent too?

wind like from Antartica all morning then quite suddenly still and sunny, she forgot it's summer for a while I think so quickly changed it back hoping we wouldn't notice
a little demetia setting in too perhaps
poor old thing

I hope Mother nature hangs in for a long while yet. I kind of like this place.

Seems like Man is giving Mother Nature a hard time and wearing her out.

Or maybe its one of the acronym-ed disorders - ADD, ADHD, MBD, etc.

She was feeling good here today. It's almost winter and I walked to work in sunshine and a T shirt.

And pants. I had my pants on too.

Rain, rain, rain here too (no floods though - yet). If the whole PLANET has Pee Em Ess I may have to start believing in God because we're going to need some help from somewhere!

Zin, and now I'm hearing about pee dee dee [or something like that] on tee vee, it's a worse form of pee em ess. Or so one drug ad says [see the cynical twist of my mouth].

Sorry Quick, you added the pants a bit too late, sunshine and tee shirt are stuck now in everybody's mind :-D

Shrimpy, I didn't say welcome earlier. BADD me. OR did I? ADD me. Welcome to Guyana :-)

We have to catch this Man and give him a good talkin' to, Sablonneuse.

Don't worry, Davem, I have a feeling she will be around longer than us. I want to live to be 100 though. Whacking people with my walking stick, hee hee.

Aiyeee, Robin! Weather sounds completely mad over there. Sounds like a wild dog weeing everywhere :-D

D, menopause sounds nerve-wracking. Oprah had a few shows on it, wish I can draw a scared face here so you can see my expression :-0

GG,
I think your Ma is right! The world does seem to be suffering and mankind is causing it.

You have a wonderful mind to come up with "oh my aching rocks..." :) How are you Ms. GG?

With our rain we had an arctic blast. Whoever is in charge of the weather they have an evil mischievous streak deluging and freezing the gnomadds of the workers on Bank Holiday and bestowing hot sunshine today on we neer-do-wells. Ho hum!

Yup, Mother Nature is getting old and grumpy. I can't say I blame her sometimes.

Guyana-Gyal said...

You mean it's not pee em ess, ML? I keep thinking I am more right than my mother :-D

HAHAHA Pat stop me before I crack up more from laughing I can't help it rain on the holiday and sun for work the day after I will email my brother to tease him

Stephen, how are youuu? I saw a great documentary on Baaba Maal and thought of you and Geoffrey Philp and Colin Channer, for some reason I link you 3 with Baaba Maal.

Man Beenzz, I still think it's pee em ess, look at the grumpiness, the mood swings :-D

no rain here. we're done with sky water for the next 5-6-7 months. mountains going brown now.... or, as we like to say... the "golden hills" of Cal-i-for-ni-a.

Alexandra said...

well just think of mother nature as a dude. then the pee em ess like behavior everyday would be completely explainable.

Stephen Bess said...

lol! That's interesting that you link the 3 of us with Baaba Maal. :)I know of him, but I only hear him at parties. I'll have to get a cd. Anyway, it's nice to be thought of. I'm doing well. Life is precious. Peace~

It's pouring rain here in Scotland too. It was hottest April on record and now we're turning into bogland.

Apparently we were colder than lapland last weekend!

I wonder if that means the Lapps were happy at least? ;-)
