Happy Valentines Day from me too.
I found your blog by clicking on the "blogs of note" link.
Cant really think of a good enough compliment. Things like "keep up the good work" dont even come close.
Think I'll borrow a phrase from America and leave you with "dayumm gurrl"
:-)

Hi Guyan- Gyal

Greetingds from Ireland!

I saw your blog advertised on Blogger. My Wifes relatives talk like you type when they get together & get animated!

My wife was born in England, but her parents came to the UK from Guyana in the early 60's. She's been about 3 times. I'd love to visit with her & our kids when they are older. My wife still has many relatives in & around Georgetown.

This should have been "Comment no!" but blogger was stuck here from Ireland earlier to-day!

Take Care
I'll be back..

G,

I've no idea what blogs of note is but you'll always be a blog of note to me. Ahhh.

Happy Valentines. I received not one card but did get a text from a loveley friend in Cyprus. And is my love life barren? Like a sodding desert, I can tell you. Everytime I look up there's dust ablowing and tumbelweed atumbling. And am I downhearted? You bet your bottom dollar I am!

Still, musn't grumble.

Dan Flynn said...

G,

Not sure what this means but I've got some message about comment moderation being enabled. The previous post has disappeared. Are you receiving any of this?

Pili said...

Thanks for sharing you blog. You have quit the imagination. Look forward to reading more.

I'm glad that blogger made a note of your stories. You tell them very good!

Congrats on this V day!

Guyana-Gyal said...

Thanks to all the new visitors, thanks for your good wishes, kind words. I hope to visit your blog when my ISP speeds up.

Mm, chocolate roses, I'll be a pig soon, Cream. Then my ma will kick me out, hahaha, no pigs allowed.

Dan, I don't like you being sad, not one bit. I think it's the media and the ads and the shops that make it worse.

Boo hoo, I had to put on that 'comments moderation' thing to keep out the hate. I don't know what I wrote to upset someone. The comments go somewhere after you post, I check out, then click 'publish.'

Thank you MB me dear, hope you treat Natty extra speshul today.

Oh man, Robin! Hope it gets better for you.

Same to you, Nomad, did you have a good day? Mine was sad, thoughtful, quiet, worried, and happy too.

Hi Steiner with the Guyanese wife, does that mean you get lots of spoiling? Guyanese women spoil their men.

Just because you have, yet again, been justly recognised for your great blog, that is NO excuse for you being so quiet since Tuesday!

Guyana-Gyal said...

Ha! Nomad, I nominated you for best St. African blog, I posted on Wed. AND today. Despite slow server. Ha. Ha!

TheHamburger said...

How do those nomination things even work? Any idea?

Guyana-Gyal said...

I'm not too sure Hamburger, somebody knows about the different blog awards, and tells everyone, and then bloggers check it out and nominate their fave bloggers.
