SOS: GUYANA FLOOD VICTIMS

At least two hundred thousand people are seriously affected by the flood.
No food. No drinking water. No place to take a bath. Hungry children. Traumatised old folks. Desperate people. In some areas the water is neck deep. People have to take boats to get to the food that’s being delivered.

The govt. is building tent cities to take them to safety BUT…

SUPPLIES ARE BADLY NEEDED!

FOOD.
MEDICINES, ETC.

PLEASE CONTACT RED CROSS IN YOUR AREA / COUNTRY
AND ASK WHAT / HOW YOU CAN SEND.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFO. AROUND TO ALL GUYANESE YOU KNOW!

The sun is out today. Hot and cheery and bright. As if nothing’s happened. The water has gone ¾ of an inch. Yay. Even a centimeter makes us hopeful!
